Look! Something new!

I needed to paint something.  It's been WAY to long.

One word. Quaxo.

I don't really know what to say about this.  I think it's pretty self-evident.  This never happened though, but this sort of thing happens all the time!

WHERE have you been?!

Sorry for the lack of posts guys, but I haven't been feeling particularly creative lately.

I was going through some of my old work and I ran across an illustration that I had forgotten about and I think you all will like.  

A lot of my work in the early part of my education was like this.  Well, what I mean is, I wanted to emulate artist that I admired, Mucha being just one of them.  This turned out to be very educational, but not very fulfilling.  So, I started to steer clear of this kind of work later on.

Oh, Anna.

So, I went on a road trip with some friends (Hannah, David, AND Anna) to New York.  It was a shitload of fun, and I have MANY good and funny memories...this being one of them.

I'll probably do more because I had SO MUCH FUN making this one.

Lately I've been feeling very nostalgic about my childhood, so I did this.

I wanted to try something a little different with this comic.  I'm not sure if I like this style, or even this particular comic, but I'm definitely going to work on it more.

I liked the first one so much that I had to do another!  Although, I think this one is better.

I could not sleep last night, so I did this.  

More often than not, I would consider myself the grumpy pessimistic guy.  The kind of person who thinks life is an unfortunate side effect before death.  Well, maybe not that bad, but still really grumpy.  Not really.

Oh, and I'm still working on the next installment of the Little Nemo series.  It's taking me a little longer because from now on they're going to be full pages.  Yeah, I know, fucking awesome!

IT BEGINS!!!

As promised, here is my first comic!

I've always wanted to do a comic that involves Little Nemo.  Yeah, I know, it's a little self indulgent but I don't care.  I'm not quite sure how this story will end, but personally, that's half the fun!

Here I am! Do what you will.

So, I have been asked to do a comic blog.  I didn't think there were enough on this planet, so, starting next week I will try to have at least one comic up each week, and hopefully (God willing) more.  Until, of course, I find out that this is a complete waste of time and drop this like a new born baby.
