Drifting

These are pretty old, but I thought they worked well for the Illustration Friday word of the week.  For those of you who can't tell, these are from the book The Life of Pi.  I'm really proud of them, and they've won several awards (not that that means anything).  Hope you like them too.

I wouldn't have guessed, mostly because I wouldn't have thought about it, but yes, I really really like the pictures. They show the vastness of the ocean, and the richness of Pi's interior life in the midst of that vast ocean.

It's a peaceful and lovely sort of drifting!

The work absolutely fits - not only visually, but having read life of Pi, that book has a drifting feeling, too.

Great job.

Of course awards mean something! I am glad you are proud of them - they are great. Where is this book sold? Amazon? Your illustrations make me want to read the book, that is for certain!!
